Notice to Homeowners regarding Tree Removal beginning May 20th
Your FNHOA board has been working with the City of Renton for the last 3 years regarding sidewalk damage from tree roots as well as for removal of the trees along NE First Street and in some of the cul de sacs. The Board just found out that the work of removing these trees will begin on Monday, May 20th. The estimate is about one week to remove all 37 of the trees. The repair of damaged sidewalks will begin the first week of June. The focus this summer will be on the sidewalks that have sustained the most damage. Any sidewalks that don’t get repaired this summer will be addressed next year due to city budget limitations. Affected homeowners will have a choice of three different varieties of trees in late fall/early winter. These trees will be small in stature and won’t cause damage to the sidewalks. Thank you for patience during the upcoming tree and repair work.
